This unlikely comedy follows Virginia, once an accomplished Psychiatric Counselor, who has lost most of her mobility and sight over the last three years. Her struggle to accept her new circumstance is made all the more difficult with the noisy and belligerent upstairs neighbor. Other tenants; Brenda, the firecracker next door, and Molly, the mysterious newcomer, make life on Lindlilly tolerable. But when the local police prove to be no help with the neighbor upstairs - Virginia decides to take matters into her own fumbling hands. Is Virginia responsible for the neighbor's dead body at the bottom of the stairs - really? With a possible homicide hanging over her head; lovable but annoying neighbors hovering, the reckoning with her body, and a spark of hope with a rekindled crush - at this moment, she's doing her best to just maintain…the state of Virginia.
